Below is a fake project. Unline the real projects you shall be working with, this one is not stored anywhere and upon reload reverts to its initial state. It is here merely to get a feeling of gGanttic project editing. This is simple. (If you don't have Silverlight, install it first)
- You click on a task or a milestone and drag it around to change a task starting time.
- You click on a "effort change" handle area on the rightmost end of a task bar to change the effort.
- You click on a "progress change" small handle area on the right end of a progress bar (middle of a task, black). If task has no progress, the handle is on the left side of a task bar
- You click on a task name(blue), or a resource name(red) to open Task Properties dialog where you can change any parameter of a task
- You can apply filter to view tasks by Resource or by Label or both.
- You can alwasy clear the Filter by clicking "show all"
If you like what you see, and want to make another step forward, create your First Project. This is going to be a real project, which is going to be stored in your Google Account. The project's Spreadsheet will be created (actually uploaded from our server to your Google Account) and then opened for editing in gGanttic.
If you don't have Google Account, you can always create one very quickly. Having Google Account (besides using gGanttic) means you have gMail, Google Calendar, Google Talk, Google Apps and customized iGoogle and other goodies. Very much recommended regardless of gGanttic.
